Telecommunications in Iowa began almost 130 years ago. Generations of Iowans played critical roles in the advancement of rural telecommunications. But, much of the richness and history of the industry is in danger of being lost as veterans of the industry retire. This project is an attempt to capture and preserve the long and fascinating journey of telecommunications in rural Iowa for current and future generations. Please listen!
