INS to Participate in IPv6 World Day

INS is hosting our ISP web site http://netINS.net on servers that are accepting IPv4 and IPv6 requests to participate in IPv6 World Day.

Since 1981, IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4) has been the publicly used version of Internet Protocol and is currently the foundation for most Internet communications. The Internet’s growth has created a need for more addresses. That’s where IPv6 comes into play. It will allow for vastly more numeric addresses. IPv6 World Day is a trial day for the industry and INS will be participating.
