Building something new can lead to a tremendous sense of satisfaction, whether we're talking about developing a new sales program for your business or creating a new table for your living room. There's nothing quite like the successful journey from initial idea to final product.

In this Business Connections issue, we pay tribute to the building process. It begins on page 3 with an update on the build out of the INS fiber optic network. We're pleased to bring this infrastructure to additional Iowa cities so that businesses will have access to higher Internet speeds and more advanced services.

We turn our attention from fiber to furniture on pages 4 and 5, where we shine the spotlight on Kreg Tool of Huxley, Iowa. This business continues to build success with a combination of well-designed woodworking products, strong company values, and longstanding community partnerships. One of those partnerships is with Huxley Communications Cooperative, provider of the communications tools that Kreg needs to stay connected.

On page 7, we share the story of our role as a corporate sponsor for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Toys for Tots program. By helping the USMC provide toys to thousands of needy children in central Iowa, INS is working to build the spirits of those who face daily challenges.
